Travel and Accommodation is the responsibility of every participant.  Click here for relevant information. Bear in mind that July is the High Tourist Season for Crete and everything is more expensive than usual. It is advisable to make arrangements as early as possible. Ask your travel agent. Communication All communication related to this Conference will be effected electronically. Use the e-mail address. Send all your documents as mail attachements (further communication details).



Oral and Video Presentations

Oral presentations may be between 15 and 30 minutes in duration. Presentations in the form of video conference are possible. An extended abstract (in MS-Word .doc or in Acrobat Reader .pdf format) describing the main points and conclusions of the presentation must be submitted in electronic form by April 22, 2005. If accepted, the final "camera ready" version must be submitted electronically by May 25, 2005, in accordance with the detailed instructions described here (right click and "Save Target As" to download the file). Fail to meet the deadline of May 25, 2005 may disqualify an accepted work. Also it will not be included in the printed proceedings, if it had been selected to. For any accepted oral or video presentation, at least one of the authors must pre-register.

Poster Presentations

Posters will preferentially be posted for the full length of the meeting. An extended abstract (in MS-Word .doc or in Acrobat Reader .pdf format) describing the main points and conclusions of the presentation must be submitted in electronic form by April 22, 2005. If accepted, posters must be brought at the Conference beginning to display in an area of about 1 square meter per poster presentation. For any accepted poster presentation, at least one of the authors must pre-register.

Comenius contact Seminar

A Comenius HelpDesk will be available during the Conference. Its purpose will be to facilitate the formation of consortiums in order to present new applications under the Comenius (School Education) scheme of the SOCRATES program. A Comenius contact seminar will be also organized (details). .

Hands-on Experiments Demonstrations

Sessions will be scheduled for the presentation and demonstration of experiments. A short abstract of no more than 500 words (two pages including affiliation and figures) describing the experiment must be submitted by April 22, 2005. The experiments may be included in the Science Fair (see below). For any work accepted as a Hands-on Experiments Demonstrations, at least one of the persons involved must pre-register.

Science Fair

Schools, research institutions, industries, Science clubs, groups of students and or teachers, or individuals may prepare a booth for the Conference’ Science Fair. A short abstract of no more than four pages (including affiliation and figures) describing the booth must be submitted by April 22, 2005. For any work accepted to the Science Fair, at least one of the persons involved must pre-register.
