• MOBILIM.   Modular Mobile Education: Science Experiments.
  Partner in a a Leonardo da Vinci project supported by the European Commission coordinated by Prof Mustafa Erol of Bozok University - Turkey
• AESTIT - An Efficient and Affordable In-Service Training Scheme for the Science Teacher.
  A SOCRATES - Comenius 2.1 project supported (2005-08) by the European Commission (coordinator).
• OIKOS – Originating Innovative methods to learn and teach Knowledge in the field of earth and natural sciences derived from an Original and combined use of applicative Software.
  Partner in a Leonardo da Vinci project supported (2004-07) by the European Union (coordinated by: Università degli Studi del Sannio - Prof. Francesco Maria Guadagno).
• SGE - Safety Goes Europe.
  Partner in a SOCRATES Grundtvig II project supported (2005-07) by the European Union (coordinated by: Pädagogische Akademie des Bundes in Wien, Prof. Hans Fibi, ostr. mag.rer.nat)
• HSci - Hands on Science.
  Partner in a SOCRATES - Comenius 3 project supported (2004-06) by the European Union (coordinated by: University of Minho, Prof. Manuel Filipe Costa).
• 1738 (in Greek) - Reform of the Undergraduate program studies of the Department for Elementary Teachers Education of The University of Crete.
  Departmental coordinator of a project supported (2003-08) by the Greek Government (3^rd Community Support Framework Program) aiming at the introduction of Informatics and Distance Education Methods to the teaching of undergraduate courses.
• 1662 (in Greek) - Further education of Primary School Teachers.
  The University of Crete coordinator of a project supported (2002-06 & 1997-99) by the Greek Government (3^rd Community Support Framework Program). The objective of this program was the further education of primary school teachers with diplomas from Pedagogic Academies towards a University degree for primary education.

  Coordinator of a series of actions supported (2002, 2002, 2003, 2005) by the Greek Government (3^rd Community Support Framework Program) aiming to train primary and secondary school teachers to the use of Informatics.

  Coordinator and/or external evaluator of the task of evaluation of Departments of the Technology Education Institute of Crete, that were created and supported by the Greek Government within the 3^rd Community Support Framework Program (1999-08).

  Coordinator of a project (2005) totally funded by the Regional Operational Program of Crete within the 3^rd Community Support Framework Program for Greece.

  Partner in a Leonardo da Vinci project supported (2002-03) by the European Union, coordinated by: University of Genoa - Professor Miranda Pilo.
• Models Creator.   A project for the development of an open computer learning environment within the PENELOPE project (sub-project 3).
  Supported (2000-01) by the Greek Government within the 2^nd Community Framework Support Program (partner in a (sub)project coordinated by the University of Patras - Prof. V. Komis)
• Models Creator.   A project for the development of an object oriented modeling environment to support qualitative and quantitative reasoning within the “Sirens” project (study 44).
  Supported (1997) by the Greek Government within the 2^nd Community Framework Support Program (coordinator of the (sub)project with V. Komis as executive technical director).

  Coordinator of a project supported initially by the Research Committee of The University of Crete (1997-98). It continues on its own funds and supports operational costs of  The Laboratory for Science Teaching. (1998-now).

  Coordinator of a project totally funded (1997) by the Greek Government within the 3^rd Community Support Framework Program for Greece to asses the operation of the Comprhensive High Schools.
