12 school teachers from EU member states attended an intensive Comenius seminar in The University of Crete campus at Rethimno with a presentation through teleconferencing from the University of Minho in Braga Portugal.

16 primary school teachers in the municipality of Rhodes attended an intensive training seminar of 40 teaching hours in the 17^th Primary school of the city of Rhodes - Greece. The seminar was within the framework agreement with the municipality of Rhodes.

The presentation addressed educators and the general public in Rhodes – Greece on the occasion of the signing of a Framework agreement between the municipality of Rhodes and The University of Crete establishing a network to explore outcomes of AESTIT.

Educational Robotics in schools.
Teaching educational robotics for 3 days – 3 teaching hours per day - to students of the public middle school (Gymnasium) in the rural village of Krana - Crete high up in the mountains of Psiloritis. The teaching was effected, under supervision from the teaching staff, by three students of the Department for Primary Education of The University of Crete within their compulsory degree dissertation studies. The teaching was also observed by school teachers and school advisors of the area. It was organized within the framework agreement between the Regional Education Authority of Crete and The University of Crete establishing a network to explore outcomes of AESTIT (see also relevant press release of Apr. 15, 2009 by the Regional Education Authority of Crete in other outcomes).
